We operate this website (the “Service”) as a public ranking and discovery platform for private game servers and related websites. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and your rights in relation to it. By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Account information. When you register you may provide a display name, email address, and password. We store your display name and email in plain text. Passwords are stored as a secure one-way bcrypt hash — we cannot read your password.

Social login. If you sign in with Google, Steam, or Discord, we receive profile information from that provider (such as a provider user ID, display name, and email address where available) to create or link your account. We do not receive your password from social providers.

Server and website listings. If you submit a listing you provide information such as the site or server name, description, category, URLs, images, and other metadata you choose to publish. This information is displayed publicly on the Service.

Vote and activity data. When you vote for a listing we record the listing voted for, the date and time, your member account ID, and your IP address. IP addresses are used to enforce daily vote limits and to detect fraudulent or abusive voting.

Payments. If you purchase advertising tokens or premium listing upgrades, we record transaction details such as the amount, payment method, status, and any tokens or premium time credited to your account. Card and wallet processing is handled by third-party payment providers; we do not store full payment card numbers.

Log data. Our web server automatically records standard access logs containing your IP address, browser user-agent, referring URL, pages visited, and timestamps. These logs are retained for a limited period for security and diagnostic purposes.

Cookies and sessions. We use session cookies to keep you logged in and to protect forms against cross-site request forgery. Session cookies contain only technical identifiers — not your password or email. They expire when you close your browser or log out.

Voluntary communications. If you contact us through the contact form or by email, we retain that correspondence so we can respond to you.

2. How We Use Your Information

To create and manage your account and authenticate you when you log in.
To operate listings, rankings, voting, premium features, and related member tools.
To enforce fair-use vote limits (including limits on votes per member and per IP address per day).
To process payments, credit tokens, and activate premium listing features you purchase.
To detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, vote manipulation, abuse, and security incidents.
To send important account or service notifications. We do not send marketing email unless you explicitly opt in.
To comply with our legal obligations.

3. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, our legal bases for processing your personal data are:

Contract performance — processing necessary to provide the Service you signed up for.
Legitimate interests — security, fraud prevention, and service improvement, where these do not override your rights.
Legal obligation — where we are required by law to retain or disclose data.
Consent — where we explicitly ask for it (for example optional email notifications).

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share information only in the following limited circumstances:

Payment processors. PayPal and cryptocurrency payment services process payments on our behalf under their own privacy policies. We receive only the information needed to confirm payment status and credit your account.
Social login providers. When you choose social login, you interact directly with that provider under its terms and privacy policy.
Service providers. Hosting and infrastructure providers process data only on our behalf to operate the Service.
Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government authority, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Service, our users, or others.
Business transfers. If the Service is acquired by or merged with another company, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify users through a prominent notice on the site before any such transfer.

Your publicly submitted content (listings, display names, and related listing materials) is visible to all visitors by design and is not considered private.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, fraud-prevention, or security purposes. Vote records may be retained for up to 12 months for abuse prevention and are then deleted or anonymised. Server access logs are automatically deleted after 30 days.

6. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including HTTPS encryption, bcrypt password hashing, CSRF protection, and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information we will delete that information promptly. If you believe a child under 13 has registered, please contact us immediately.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Rectification — request correction of inaccurate data.
Erasure — request deletion of your account and associated personal data.
Restriction — request that we limit how we process your data.
Portability — request your data in a machine-readable format where applicable.
Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests.
Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time.

9. Third-Party Links

The Service contains links to external websites (such as game server websites and community channels listed by our users). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their privacy policies.
